Restore Printer Connections

If you no longer see the printers listed on your machine there is a simple process to retrieve them.

• Firstly, you need to plug your network cable directly into your laptop, most setups in the CRC are using a docking station, you will need to disconnect the network cable from your dock and put it directly into your laptops network port instead which all of our laptops have.

• After you have ensured your network cable is directly connected next you want to run a “Restart” this is very different than a “Shutdown” or logging out and back in again.  Restart is the only option that will refresh your computers internal clock which is very important when it comes to detecting printers.  To run a restart:

1. Click the start button -
2. Click the power icon - 
3. Select restart -              

Now you should see our 2 printers listed

1. SecurePrint_Colour

2. SecurePrint_Mono
